Housam Krema is a principal consultant who managed a net worth of projects of more than USD 200M. He started his career with ZTE as a core network engineer serving top-tier Libyan clients in the telco/tech industry, while also being trusted with monitoring/managing service quality and quality assurance. He later joined Schlumberger as a network engineer and was promoted shortly after to be the Quality Operations Support Manager. He later worked for Ovitel where he led and managed complex projects such as Waha Oil Company’s VSAT project; that is in addition to his involvement in quality operations. After that he moved to Tafani, taking care of their POS solution and then joined ENC for their mega project as the head of quality and development and to help lead the National TETRA project countrywide. Housam Krema is currently a principal consultant at MTC assisting clients to achieve and maintain higher levels project and program management maturity through the application MTC’s proprietary Project Management Office Energize (PMO Energize) program that he helped design and implement. He has also led the various managerial aspects of establishing an innovation lab and purchasing a Business Support System (BSS) for one of MTC’s clients, including concept design, requirements, and vendor selection approach. Housam Krema holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Tripoli. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), certified Six Sigma Yellow belt (SSYB®), and holds numerous certifications in digital transformation and maturity from tmforum® such as Business Process Framework (eTOM®), Application Framework (TAM®) and other Frameworx® certifications, that detail how a technology company should operate in the fourth industrial revolution digital age, in addition to his certification as an ISO9001 internal auditor. Housam Krema is certified in train the trainer program from RMC, and only one of three in Libya all from MTC.
